With 8th grade gone, their 2nd grade buddies filled in this morning and helped set up the grotto for Adoration. Thank you, boys! It is a beautiful day to be outside for a little quiet time with Jesus!

The 8th graders had a fantastic time on their class trip to St. Louis today!
Instrument Trial Night at Central Catholic was a HUGE success! Mrs. Baxter can't wait to work with the future 5th Grade Beginning Band next year! Thanks to the Music Shoppe for providing instruments! A big thank you to Central Catholic Band students and Ms. Bobarksy for hosting and helping the 4th graders from all partner schools try out instruments!
Our 2nd graders enjoyed some time at the park and an afternoon of bowling as a reward for their hard work preparing for their two sacraments this year. We are so proud of you!

The 6th graders have been studying soil in STEM. Thanks to a grant from the Farm Bureau the students were able to study the different types of soil we have in Mclean county. They were also able to test our STEM garden soil for PH levels as well as its nutrient levels for Nitrogen, Potassium and Phosphorus. Now we can amend our soil and yield a better crop for our kitchen staff! #sustainability #realworldpractices #handsonlearning
