Today in Technology 8th grade took advantage of the beautiful weather. They designed and built rockets weeks ago, and have been waiting to launch them! We will be entering our data into Google Sheets and creating graphs.

Mrs. McClure's class visited buddies in Mrs. Heller's room and shared some Christmas stories.

Did you know poinsettias have a chemical called Anthocyanine in them? In STEAM class, the 7th graders boiled the chemical out of the poinsettia bracts, and created pH testing strips from the leached chemical. Then the students tested several different liquids with their strips to find out which were acidic and which were bases. Science+Agriculture=Christmas STEAM fun!
