"May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones,
allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us."
--- St. Teresa of Avila

Dear Corpus Christi Families,
It is that time of year again when the Corpus Christi Builders Club asks for your help to provide a wonderful Christmas for a local family which we have adopted through The Children’s Home and Aid Organization and to partner with Catholic Charities to provide toys to less fortunate children in the Diocese of Peoria.
The Builders Club Officers and the Class Representatives in grades 5-8 need cash donations to purchase items for the family that we have adopted. We are asking that students in grades 5-8 bring in cash donations for this purpose. The Builders Club Class Representatives will have decorated cans in their homerooms to collect the cash.
Students in Preschool-4th grade are asked to bring in unwrapped toys for Catholic Charities. There will be box outside the school office to collect the toys.
Please bring all donations to school by December 5th.
If you have any questions, you may email Jane McConnell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you so much for your support!!!

Clip the box tops from eligible products including Pillsbury, Old El Paso, Green Giant, General Mills and Betty Crocker products. To view the entire list of eligible products, visit the Box Tops 4 Education website. Each box top is worth 10¢ and our school can earn up to $20,000 per year.
There are collection boxes for the box tops located at both St. Patrick of Merna and Holy Trinity parishes, and students are welcome to turn into their classroom teacher as well. Ideally, the box tops will be cut neatly and zip-lock bagged in groups of 50, but we will gladly take them however you would like to send them! Thank you for your support of our school through this wonderful program.
A BIG thanks to all that have already signed up to volunteer for lunch duty this year. Below is a link to our sign up, if you haven't yet had a chance to join us. Also, please review the sign up if you need to arrange for a sub. Thank you!
On behalf of the faith and education community of Corpus Christi, welcome to our website and welcome home to your school. Please take a walk around our website, contact us and take a walk around our school. See the difference and believe.
"Community is at the heart of all Catholic education, not simply as a concept to be taught, but as a reality to be lived . . . Your students will learn to understand and appreciate the value of community as they experience love, trust, and loyalty in your school and educational programs, and as they learn to trust all persons as brothers and sisters created by God and redeemed by Christ."
Saint Pope John Paul II
When parents choose a Catholic School for their children, it sets their children apart as a family so committed to their children's education that they are ready to make extraordinary sacrifices. Parents, by making the sacrifice necessary to send their children to Catholic school, show them education is a high priority. Catholic schools provide a loving, loyal environment where the entire community of parents, teachers, students, and parish is committed to academic and personal success.
