Top 20/Houses

Top 20 is an incentive competition for all 6th & 7th graders.  Students can earn points through participation in class discussions, winning in-class games, excellent behavior, just to name a few. Additional points can be earned by doing the on-line quizzes I post on my page a few times during the quarter. At the end of the quarter, the top 20% of the students in each grade who have earned the most points receive a reward of some kind.

The 8th graders will do something similar, but rather than work as individuals, they will be grouped into houses and compete as teams.  The team in each class with the highest number of points at the end of the trimester will win.

The winners of the Third Trimester Top 20/House Competition will vote on what they want for their prize among three choices.
